Pogosticking takes place when a surfer can't find the information he's looking for on a website. He's/she's going to click everywhere hoping to find little bits of information that could be useful for him/her.
Research has into pogosticking has been done. The most important result is that pogosticking leads to less conversions. In other words,the more surfers have to "pogostick", the smaller the chance that they find what they're looking for!
