The Parking Lot writes with Pelikan
We just launched our newest project for Pelikan !
This websites covers the issues around learning how to write properly. It targets two groups,part of the website is for children, another part is more for teachers and parents.
Children discover more about writing by playing, coloring and tinkering.
The Pelikan website gives a lot of information to the teachers about this writing-issue.
Teachers and their classes can participate in a challenge where they can win writing/drawing material, by tinkering, drawing and writing.
We've chosen to work with stop motion photo's for this website. It gives a special effect throughout all webpages. As you will see, the rest of the website is illustrated by hand which lays a link to the material of Pelikan.

The Parking Lot gaat vissen met Telindus
ICT-bedrijf Telindus, alweer een tijdje onderdeel van de Belgacom groep organiseert al jaren een ICT-beurs met een internationale focus. En daar worden elk jaar de grote marketingmiddelen voor ingezet. Dit jaar mocht The Parking Lot het online luik realiseren. En daar staat social networking centraal, op een erg aparte manier.
The Parking Lot maakte immers een soort online ‘aquarium’ (de ‘Fishtank’) waar alle bezoekers van de beurs hun eigen ‘vis’ kunnen creëren aan de hand van allerlei parameters zoals omvang, vingrootte, kleur en voor wie dat wenst een toupet of snor…
De toegevoegde vissen zwemmen virtueel rond in het aquarium waarbij men kan klikken op een vis om er mee te ‘netwerken’ voor het event begint. Aan elke vis – deelnemer dus – is bovendien ook het LinkedIn profiel gekoppeld.
Aardig gemaakt en pal in de stijl van het event waar networking altijd hoog bovenaan de agenda heeft gestaan.
Voor de deelnemers aan het event: de site bevat uiteraard ook alle nodige info, evenals een persoonlijke agendaplanner.
